If someone ever says to me, “Man, you must have a screw loose or something, buddy,” I like to turn around suddenly and say, “What? Are you implying that I’m some sort of robot? Some sort of super-intelligent robot created to assimilate into society unnoticed and collect information on human behavior for my evil alien masters?”
Then, see, they’ll just stand there wide-eyed for a moment, and then they’ll say something like, “W-?no. No, man, I don’t?I just meant, you’re?you’re a little weird. That’s?that’s all.” So I’ll say, “Well, good. Because if you were implying that whole robot thing, you’d’ve been way off, pal. Way off.” Then I stiffen my arms and legs and stagger away in a jerky fashion.
See, while they originally thought I was “a little weird,” they now either think:
A) I am, in fact, really, really, really weird, or
B) I am, in fact, a super-intelligent robot.
And you know?there’s some truth to both those statements?.
I’ve said too much already. End communication.
